The
Nigerian Senate has rejected Ibrahim Magu’s nomination as the Chairman of the
EFCC. According to the Chairman, Senate Committee on Media and Public Affairs,
the rejection which came after a closed-door session today, was based on
security report. He further said the rejection would be communicated to
President Muhammadu Buhari to take further action.
